If you do not have any particular area that you would like to work on, we will progress through the individual levels while systematically building and expanding your skills in the areas of: speaking, listening, reading, writing, and intercultural competence and awareness.
Learning another language also means learning about another culture. Identifying similarities and differences between another culture and your own helps us to avoid misunderstandings and communicate effectively.
You set the pace: We move at a faster pace when you have enough time to prepare and follow up on lessons and go slow and review a lot when you have many other commitments.
I use modern textbooks as the basis for our lessons. In our life online lesson, I will use the digital version of the textbook which I will share with you on screen. You can use the printed textbook. This way, you can write in your textbook, take notes, and do your homework.
The textbooks I use are Schritte international Neu and Vielfalt from Hueber. The textbooks are available at IBIS - International Book Import Service or Amazon. Depending on the topic, I will supplement the textbook with various authentic materials and resources that relate directly to a particular topic or learning objective in the textbook. These resources include videos, games, music, German TV shows, podcasts, and more.
